For App Users

Opt-In: Users opt in to receive SMS messages from ReferVo Inc by entering their phone number during account registration within the ReferVo mobile app and agreeing to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. For ongoing SMS notifications, users must explicitly enable SMS notifications in the app settings and agree to receive text messages through a consent modal. Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on user activity and account settings.

For Referred Leads (Third-Party Recipients)

How It Works: When a ReferVo user sends a referral, they must first confirm that the referred individual has agreed to be contacted. ReferVo then sends a single SMS to the lead asking them to confirm this consent by replying YES. See our SMS Consent Policy for complete details.

Consent Required: This is the only message sent unless the lead replies YES. If the lead does not respond or replies NO, no further messages are sent and their contact information is not shared with the receiving business.

Message Frequency: Leads receive only one consent request SMS unless they explicitly opt in by replying YES.

General SMS Terms

Costs: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Opt-Out: All recipients may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent unless you opt in again.

No Sharing: SMS consent and phone numbers are not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • With Other Users: Information you choose to share as part of referrals (such as lead details and professional profiles) will be visible to relevant partners.
  • Service Providers: We may share information with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf.
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred.
  • With Your Consent: We may share information with your explicit consent.
